Obituary for Ralph R Jurkiewicz

Sayreville
Ralph R. Jurkiewicz age 82 of Sayreville passed away Sunday March 12, 2017 at Silver Care Center, Cherry Hill. Born in Sayreville he was a lifelong borough resident. Before his retirement he was employed as a maintenance man for Class Act Cleaning in East Brunswick, Auto Exchange in Sayreville as a security guard and formally was self employed as a licensed plumber for many years. Ralph was a communicant of Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and was also a member of the Polish National Alliance.

He is predeceased by his son Paul T. Jurkiewicz in 2011, his parents Joseph & Catherine Jurkiewicz and his siblings Josephine Dusko, Mary Jurkiewicz, Theresa Fernandez, Frank Jurkiewicz, Stanley Jurkiewicz, John Jurkiewicz, Joseph Jurkiewicz, Catherine Schlottfield and Stella Chitren. Surviving are his children and their spouses Cindy Mele, Richard Jurkiewicz, Joseph Jay, Ralph & Vicki Jurkiewicz, Scott & Coleen Jurkiewicz and Perry & Vicky Jurkiewicz all of Sayreville, his sisters Florence Prestifilippi of Bayonne, Agnes Jurkiewicz of Sayreville and Edward Jurkiewicz of Sayreville, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, Sayreville, NJ 08872, followed by a 10am mass at Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church with private cremation to follow.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Friday from 5pm to 9pm. Saint Stanislaus Holy Name Society will hold services Friday 8pm at the funeral home.
