Obituary for James J Ford
Sayreville
James Ford, age 69 of Sayreville, passed Sunday May 7, 2017 at his home with his loving family at his side. Born in Pennsylvania, he had resided in Woodbridge for 25 years before moving to Sayreville. James was a proud U.S. Navy Corpsman and served with the U.S. Marines in Vietnam.
Before his retirement 15 years ago James was a supervisor for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority.
James is survived by his wife Catherine Ford, his children and their spouses, James and Maryanne Ford, Michael and Kelly Ford and Carrie Ford, his step-children and their spouses, Daniel and Katie Ross and Lauren and Giancarlo Cosini, his brother William and his wife Karen Ford, his sister, Sandy Stillwell, his 9 beloved grandchildren and many other loving friends and family members.
Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin will be held Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral services at the funeral home will be held Thursday at 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in James name to Saint Peters Preparatory School, Jersey City. http://spprep.org/donate
