Richard G. Benedict, age 78, originally of East Brunswick, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at his son’s home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in East Brunswick, Richard had resided there before moving to
Concord, VT, 17 years ago. He was a self-employed chef and owned and operated
Corner Café in Monroe for several years. Richard was also a member of the South
River Masonic Lodge #243.
He is predeceased by his parents Louis and Julianna Benedict, his siblings Louis, Frank, Jane, Hilda, and his son in law Edward Richter.
Surviving are his wife Joanne Spreng Benedict, his children Debra Richter,
Donna Geesey and her husband John, Richard Benedict and his wife Krista, Gregory Benedict and his wife Catherine, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren his sister Olga Forrar, and his brothers William and Robert.
