Old Bridge
Eugene “Gene” Thomas Danseglio, age 71, of Old Bridge passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 21, 2017 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, surrounded by his loving family. Born in the Bronx, NY he had resided in the Parlin section of Sayreville before moving to Old Bridge 5 years ago. Before his retirement, Gene was employed as a Telephone Technician for Bell Atlantic/Verizon in both New Brunswick and Keyport for over 31 years where he was a member of IBEW Local 827. Gene was a communicant of St. Bernadette’s RC Church and loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is predeceased by his parents Cosmo & Edna Danseglio. Surviving is Eugene’s loving wife Erolin (Agtang) Danseglio of Old Bridge; his 3 beloved daughters Eunice, Edna & Elana of Old Bridge; his wonderful grandson Christopher Schiadaresis; nephew Paul & wife Janet Kane of Jackson; and dear friends Charles Lobaito, Jocelyn & Greg Schomp, Erica Nicholsen, & Erin Nicholsen, all of Old Bridge; as well as many other friends and relatives whom he loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held Monday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin followed by a 9:30am mass at St. Bernadette’s RC Church. A private cremation will follow.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.
