Edward Holda of Sayreville passed away peacefully on July 5, 2017 at his home with his loving family at his side. Born in Sayreville, he was a lifelong resident of the borough. Edward was employed by Hercules as a pipefitter for over 45 years and was a proud communicant of the St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C Church in Sayreville. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Edward is predeceased by his beloved wife Edwina, his parents Joseph and Freda, his son-in-law Jay Langan and his brothers Leon and Joseph Holda.
Surviving are his loving daughters Eileen Langan, Kathleen Czick and her husband Stephen, his grandchildren Lisa Pawelek and husband Dan, Dr. Maureen Czick and partner Dr. Christine Shapper, Stephen Czick and fiancé Hannah Schacter, Joseph Czick and wife Allison, his great grandchildren Emily and Brian Pawelek and Jonathan and Katherine Green.
Funeral services will be Saturday 10am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main St. Sayreville, with a 10:30am funeral mass being offered at Stanislaus Kostka R.C Church, Sayreville.
Calling hours at the funeral home will take place Saturday from 8:30am to 10am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Edward’s name to Embracing Hospice Care, 3349 Route 138, Wall, NJ.
