Sophie A. Krempecki, 96, of Greensburg, formerly of Sayreville, NJ passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 in Hempfield Manor, Hempfield Township. She was born September 23, 1920 in South Amboy, NJ, a daughter of the late Dominic and Boleslawa (Wrobel) Zdan. Prior to retirement she was employed by the Sayreville Board of Education. Mrs. Krempecki was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic Church and in recent years she attended St. Paul Parish in Greensburg. She was a member of the PTA, Rosary Altar Society and Senior Citizens Club, all of St. Stanislaus Kostka. She was also a member of the International Garment Union. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanley Walter Krempecki on April 4, 2008; her brothers Alexander Zdan and Edward (Jane) Zdan; her 2 sisters Sue Holda (Edward) and Anna Skwiat (Steven); and her great-granddaughter Clare Rosalind Natale. Sophie is survived by her loving son Timothy John Krempecki and his wife Patricia, of Greensburg; her 2 adoring grandchildren John Timothy Krempecki (Amy), of Fayetteville, NC and Jill Marie Natale (James), of Uniontown; her dear great-granddaughter Julia Marie Natale; and sister-in-law Lynn Zdan, of Sayreville, NJ.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 8:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, Sayreville with a 9am Mass at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
