Obituary for Helen Sawka
Sayreville
Helen Sawka, age 90 of Sayreville, passed away peacefully, Monday July 10, 2017 at her home in Monroe. Born in Perth Amboy, she had lived in Sayreville for most of her life. Before her retirement, Helen worked as seamstress at Brodsky’s in South River for many years. She was a member of Assumption Ukrainian Catholic Church in Perth Amboy.
Surviving are her loving son Stephen Sawka and grandson Stephen Glen Sawka II.
Funeral services will be Friday 9am at the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main with a funeral mass being offered at Assumption Ukrainian Catholic, Perth Amboy followed by a burial at Assumption Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery on Florida Grove Road,Perth Amboy.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 5pm to 8pm.
