Obituary for John A Pelc

Parlin
John A. Pelc, age 55 of Parlin, passed away Sunday July 23, 2017. Born in Brooklyn NY, he had resided in Parlin for the past 25 years. John worked for Penguin Maintenance & Service in Jersey City and was a proud member of the Operating Engineers Local #68. He was a member of Star Touring & Riding Chapter 118 and was often found volunteering with one of their many charity groups. John’s love of family and community was a huge part of his life and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, the former Donna Marchese, his beloved children Daniel, Mathew & Samantha, his parents Eugene and Wanda, his siblings Christine Celestino and her husband Philip, Richard, Peter, & Robert, his father in law Edwin Marchese, his cherished great dane Blue and a host of other relative and friends who loved him dearly.
Funeral services will be Friday 8pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin NJ with a private cremation to follow.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
