Obituary for Sophie Modzelewski
Sophie Modzelewski, age 89 of Sayreville, passed away Monday August 28, 2017 at her home. Born in Sayreville, she had resided in New Jersey her entire life. Before her passing Sophie was a lab technician for Bristol-Meyers Squibb. Sophie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt, friend and so much more. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Sophie is predeceased by her beloved husband Alfred Modzelewski and her parents John & Jenny Baron. Surviving are her children Robert & wife Regina Modzelewski, Kathy Jo & husband Scott Kaelin, as well as her adored grandchildren, Scott Kaelin & Fiancée Julia Tulanowski, Kristen Kaelin, Robbie Modzelewski and Jason Modzelewski, her sister in law Ronnie Willie and her caregiver Marietta.
Funeral services will be Saturday 8:45am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville with a 9:30am funeral mass at St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will follow at St. Stan’s Cemetery, Sayreville.
