Christina “Tina” Wisk McHenry, age 47 formerly of Sayreville peacefully passed away at Banner Medical Center in Mesa, AZ with her loving family at her side. Born in South Amboy, she was raised in the Parlin section of Sayreville before moving to AZ with her fiancée 3 years ago. After graduating from Sayreville High School in 1988, Ms. McHenry attended and graduated from Kean University in 1993 where she received a degree in Special Education. She was a true dog lover and spent her time at the beach whenever she could. Throughout Tina’s many years of illness, her immediate family, former husband Doug, and fiancée Michael were always behind her, taking care of her every step of the way. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Tina is predeceased by her father George Wisk. Surviving are her 3 loving children Taylor, Hailey & Kyra of Staten Island; her mother Patricia Wisk of Parlin; brother James Wisk and girlfriend Sharon Berardi of Hazlet; sister Patti and husband Frank Abramowitz of Sayreville; former husband Doug McHenry and wife Kathy of Staten Island; fiancée Michael Gizzo of AZ; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ followed by a 9:30am mass at St. Mary’s RC Church in South Amboy. A private cremation will follow.

Calling hours at the funeral home will take place Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Tina’s name to the Susan G. Komen Foundation at ww5.komen.org/Donate/Donate.html or to Tina’s children to assist with their education fund.
