Timothy James Conway age 57 of Somerset passed away Tuesday October 17th 2017, unexpectedly at his home. Born in Flushing Queens, New York he resided in Highland Park before moving to Somerset in 2006. Timothy was a graduate of Rutgers University where he received his BS in Computer Science with a minor in Accounting.

Timothy was employed as a computer engineer for Ericsson Corp formally Telcordia in Piscataway where he worked for the past 20 years. Tim was a Sail Boat Captain, with a love of sailing. Active in the following groups, Mystic Sea Port Museum in Conn., Saint Michael Maritime Museum in Maryland, Old Millstone Forge, where he was on the Board of Directors and a black smith, Rose Island Light House Foundation in Road Island, Somerset Power Squadron and American Sailing Association.

He is predeceased by his parents James S. & Elaine Conway. Surviving are his loving sisters and their husbands Carol & Mark Podeszfinski and Kerri & Peter Fanelli, his nephews Christopher, Matthew, Mark and James and his beloved partner Janice Elwood.

Calling hours at the Maliszewski Funeral Home will be held Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.

Funeral services will be held Monday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River followed by a 9am mass at Saint Mary of Ostrabrama R. C. Church in South River with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in Timothy’s name be made to the Old Millstone Forge Old Millstone Forge Association Po Box 893 Manville, NJ 08835 of the community service of your choice.
