Lois G. VanPell, age 71 of Parlin, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Brunswick, she had lived in Parlin her whole life. Lois worked in sales order services for Johnson & Johnson for over 35 years. After her retirement, Lois helped established A Step in Time Dance Studio with her daughter Dana. Lois took great pride and joy in running the dance studio. Her friendly face could be found at the front desk, helping out the dancers, and running the dance recitals.
She is predeceased by her parents Stanton and Catherine, and her sister Joyce South.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years Glenn, her children and their spouses Glenn and Colleen, Craig and Kimberly, Dana and Fred Siverio, her grandchildren Patrick, Ryan, Meghan, Madisyn, Jalyn, Mackenzie, her step-grandchildren Symantha, Olivia, Xavier, her sister Karen Morris, and a host of other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, will be Monday from 5pm to 9pm.
Services will be held Monday 8pm. A private cremation will follow.
