MaryJane Joachim, age 83, of Parlin passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 1, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick with her loving family at her side. Born in Bayonne, MaryJane resided and raised her family in Parlin for more than 55 years. Before her retirement 12 years ago, Mrs. Joachim worked as a Front End Supervisor with Pathmark in Marlboro for 35 years. She was also the head of Local 1216 with Pathmark as well as the Chairman of the Sunshine Club. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

MaryJane is predeceased by her 2 loving sons Harry Nicholas, Jr. and Nicholas Harry, her parents Andrew and Jenny Pelliccio, and her brothers John, Jake, Vincent, & Andrew Pelliccio. Surviving are her daughters Jane Galasso of Monroe, and Laurie & her husband Anthony Alegria, Sr. of VA; grandchildren and their spouses Anthony, Jr. & Mandi Alegria of IL, Jenna Marie Alegria of CO, Albe & Jamie Galasso of Parlin, and Nicole & Joseph Malvasio of Westfield; 5 adoring great-grandchildren Anthony III, Ryan, Jase, Annetta, & Joseph Paul; and her siblings Joe Pelliccio of Brick, Ralph Pelliccio of Bayonne, and Angie Cerbone of Bayonne.

Calling hours will be held Friday from 4pm to 8pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with religious services at 7pm. A private cremation will follow.
