Parlin
Martha M. Zera Pohl, age 95, formerly of Parlin, passed away peacefully Thursday November 16, 2017 at Brandall Estates in Linwood, NJ. Born in South Amboy, she was a lifelong resident of Parlin. Martha was a homemaker and a communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Amboy.
She is predeceased by her husband Arthur in May of 1971 and her Wilusz-Zera siblings.
Surviving are her five children Ralph and his wife Joanne, Alexis and her husband Michael McPoland, Arthur and his wife Marianne, Grace and her husband Stephen Toth, Roxanne and her husband Robert Ciszewski, her ten grandchildren Andrew, Brian, Christopher, Ronald, Lauren, Jessica, Casandra, Ryan, Deanna, and Jason, and her two great grandchildren Alexandra and Xavier.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 8:30am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane with a 9am funeral mass to follow at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Amboy. Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 5pm to 9pm.
