William “Billy” “Will” McDonnell-Fredericks, age 39, passed away on Thursday, December 7th 2017, in Toms River due to medical complications.

Billy was born on February 26, 1978 and was a proud hometown boy of Port Monmouth in Middletown. Appearing a quiet gentleman who was quite a nomad, Billy impacted and inspired so many people who crossed his path throughout his journey with joy, laughter and sharing his experiences.

He is predeceased by his grandparents; Clifford and Helen Fredericks, William McDonnell; Uncle Patrick McDonnell, Michael Maxwell; Aunt Kim Evanego. Surviving are his parents, Paul & Catherine Fredericks, his siblings; Paul Fredericks Jr and wife Carly, Samantha and husband Jordan Black and Jesse Fredericks; two nieces, Ava and Miley; one nephew, Mason; grandparents, Dino and Shirley Dimuro; many aunts and uncles who adored him; endless amount of cousins and his fiancé who was by his side every step of the way, Michelle Adamczyk.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 13th from 4-7pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, NJ. Prayer and celebration will commence at 6:30pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to http://www.hopeshedslight.org/ in his memory. Hope Sheds Light was instrumental in Billy’s life most recently. At HOPE Sheds Light, they are dedicated to educating families on the disease of addiction by creating awareness, providing resources and instilling hope to support a healthier community.
