Obituary for Leon Maliszewski
Parlin
Leon Maliszewski, age 85 of the Parlin section of Sayreville, passed away Wednesday December 20, 2017 at his home. Born in Parlin he was a lifelong resident of the borough. Before his retirement Leon was employed DuPont for over 30 years. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, South Amboy and was a proud U.S. Marine veteran who served during the Korean conflict. Leon was an avid sportsman who enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing and hunting.
Leon is predeceased by his parents Andrew and Frances Maliszewski and brothers Andrew, Raymond and Edward. He is survived by his sister Doris O’Brien of Seattle.
Cremation services are private. Services provided by the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. Letters of condolence to the family, completed arrangements and directions may be found at www.spezzifuneralhome.com
