Obituary for Edward W McColly

Edward W. McColly of Westfield, NJ died yesterday at the Arnold Walter Memorial Home after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was 60.

Born in Highland Park, Illinois to the late William and Joan McColly he completed undergraduate studies at Princeton University and earned his MBA from UCLA. While attending UCLA he had a part time job working as a page on The Price is Right. After graduation he enjoyed a long career in financial management. An accomplished drummer, Ed was a proud alumni of the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps and for many years performed in the Union County area with his friends in the band Rewind.

In 1981 he met the love of his life, his devoted wife Tracey nee Skarzynski with whom he had two sons, William of and John “Jack” of Westfield. In addition to his wife and sons he is survived by his Father and Mother in law Raymond and Helen Skarzynski, his Brothers in law Glenn and Peter, and his nine nephews and nieces.
