Norman VanFossen of South Amboy, age 68, died Friday, March 9, 2018 at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel with his loving family by his side. Norman worked as a stationary Engineer for over 10 years at Monmouth County Jail. Norman was a proud U.S. Marine who served in the Vietnam War.

Norman is predeceased by his parents Russell & Victoria VanFossen, surviving is his beloved wife Barbara DuBarry VanFossen of over 30 years as well as his adored son and his wife Russell & Sarah VanFossen and his brothers Jimmy & Tommy VanFossen. Norman was a loving husband, father, friend and so much more; he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Prayer services will be Tuesday 4pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 2pm to 6pm.
