Obituary for Nellie H Hufford (Stritzinger)

Nellie H. Stritzinger Hufford, age 88 of Sayreville, passed away Friday April 20, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she had resided in Sayreville for many years. Before her retirement, Nellie worked at Bristol-Myer Squibb in New Brunswick a as a chef in the kitchens as well as a custodian. She was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Sayreville. Nellie was a member of the VFW 2061 Ladies Auxiliary and the Sayreville Seniors Thursday Club.
She is predeceased by her husband John Hufford Sr., her granddaughter Nellie Ann Kaminsky, her siblings Lil, Tom, Dorothy, and George Stritzinger.
Surviving are her children John Jr. and his wife Susan, Sandra Novak and her husband Steven, Nancy Petracca and her husband Sam, Debra Hufford-Nee and her husband Matthew, her grandchildren Michael, Kristin, Daniel, John III, Maryann, Jason, Matthew, her great grandchildren Gracie Ann, Mikey, Daniel III and MJ and her siblings Emmajane and William Stritzinger.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10am at the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main St. Sayreville, with a burial to follow at Washington Monumental Cemetery in South River.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
