Obituary for Donald E Price
Donald E. Price, age 85 of Parlin, passed away peacefully at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, surrounded by his loving family. Born in New Brunswick, he lived in Parlin for the last 55 years. Before his retirement, Donald worked as a Blue Seal Stationary Engineer at Proctor and Gamble for over 22 years. Donald was a loving father and grandfather always participating and encouraging his children in all their sports and after school activities. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 214 in South River, NJ as well as was a member of the American Coast Guard Auxiliary. Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, and so much more. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is predeceased by his parents John & Edith Price. Surviving is his beloved wife of 63 years, the former Stephanie Nowicki, his children Donald Price & his wife Maria, Kathleen Peterson & her husband William and his son Kenneth Price, his adored grandchildren Melissa Peterson & Christopher Price and his much loved great-granddaughter Annabelle.
Funeral prayer services will be Friday, 8pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin NJ. A private cremation will follow. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 7pm to 9pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Donald’s name to a charity of their choosing. Letters of condolence to the family, completed arrangements and directions may be found at www.Spezzifuneralhome.com.
