Obituary for Alexandria Porcaro
Alexandria M. Porcaro, age 79, of Woodbridge, passed away peacefully Saturday August 11, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Born in New Brunswick, she was a lifelong resident of New Jersey. Alexandria, better known as SANDY, was devoted to her family and friends, and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She LOVED anything and everything Elvis!
She was predeceased by her loving husband Frank Porcaro, her daughter Melissa Chamberlain, and her brother John Gluchowski. She leaves behind her daughter Lisa Nagy, son James Chamberlain and his wife Toni, brother Alan Gluchowski and his wife Leona, and sister-in-law Carol Gluchowski, her grandchildren Shannon Raymond and her husband Donald, Cassie Di Lauro and her husband Nicholas, James Hall, Tyler Chamberlain, Ryan Chamberlain, and Jessica Chamberlain, 10 great-grandchildren that were the sunshine of her life, Nicholas, Joseph, Vincent, Adrianna, Giuliana, Giavanna, Kylie, Jaxson, Donovan and Liliana. As well as many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral service will be Friday 9:30am at the Carmen F Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane in Parlin, NJ with a burial to follow at Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 6pm to 9pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Alexandria's name to her family for help with funeral expenses.
