James Markovich, age 69, passed away peacefully Sunday August 26, 2018 with his loving family at his side. Born in Newark, he had resided in Sayreville for most of his life before moving to South Amboy. James was a graduate of St Gregory’s in Oklahoma and Rutgers, New Brunswick. He will be fondly remembered for his love of sailing.
He is predeceased by his parents Andrew and Kathleen Markovich. Surviving are his sisters and their spouses, Jeannine and Allen Chodkiewicz, Kathleen Boyd and Paul Campanelli and Mary and Patrick Burns, his nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Robert Kowalski, Andrew and Kathleen Chodkiewicz, Sheila Carver, Michael Boyd, Alexandra, RJ, Andrew, Mariah, David and JJ, as well as many loving friends and neighbors.

Funeral services are private under the care of the Carmen F Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, NJ.
