Stella Cierniakowski Pogoda Napor, age 91 of Wyckoff, passed away peacefully at her home on September 6, 2018. Born in Plains PA, she had lived in Lyndhurst, Sayreville and then Toms River for many years before moving to Wyckoff two years ago. Stella worked as a dental assistant in North Arlington for 30 years and then at Fortunoff for 12 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville where she was a former member of the OLV Rosary Society. Stella was also a member of the Sayreville Seniors Tuesday Club and the St. Stan’s Seniors.
Stella is predeceased by her first husband of 50 years Chester Pogoda in 1997 and her second husband of 12 years Carl Napor in 2016.
Surviving are her daughter Nanci Pogoda-Ciccone, her son John Pogoda and his wife Debbie, her daughter Jayne Ramirez and her husband Carlos, 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, her step-son Carl Napor and his wife Pat, her step-daughter Janet Armstrong and her husband Mark, her step-daughter Cathy Space and her husband Michael, her step-son Robert Napor and his wife MaryBeth, her 8 step-grandchildren, and 7 step-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday 10:15am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with an 11am funeral mass to follow at Our Lady of Victories RC Church.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm.
