Lech Matuszewski age 59 of South Amboy died suddenly on February 12, 2015 as a result of an auto accident in Old Bridge. Born in Zielona Gora, Poland he immigrated to Linden in 1980 moving to South Amboy in 1989. Mr. Matuszewski was employed as a line operator for ACTAVIS Pharmaceutical in Edison for the past 5 years and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 210. Lech was a communicant of Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy.

Surviving is his wife of 33 years Danuta “Donna” Piechota Matuszewski, his children Daniel and Aneta Matuszewski both of South Amboy and his brother Stanislaw Matuszewski in Poland.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 10:30am mass at Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sayreville.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Monday from 7pm to 9pm.
