Parlin
Anna (Cernova) Burzawa age 91 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Born in the Ukraine she had resided in New Jersey for most of her life. Before her retirement Anna was employed by the Worniewicz handkerchief factory and was a lifelong communicant of St Mary of Ostrabrama R. C Church in South River.
She is predeceased by her son Teddy Burzawa of South River NJ. Surviving are her Daughter Helena DeBoer and son in-law Ron of Bayville NJ, Son Stanley Burzawa of South River, Grandchildren, Annya Soucy and her husband Paul of NC, Christopher Burzawa and wife Annie of CT, TJ Burzawa of CT, Jeneen DeBoer of Brick, Jason DeBoer of MA and Great Grand children Liam and Benjamin Soucy NC.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 8:30am from Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave South River followed by a 9am mass at St. Mary of Ostrabrama R. C Church in South River. Burial will follow at St. Stan’s Cemetery, Sayreville.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Friday from 4pm to 7pm.
